A man is being hailed as a hero after he pulled a two-year-old from a burning car after an accident on 101 Freeway in Hollywood on November 10. The crash occurred around 9:25 p.m. near Santa Monica Blvd. after a Hyundai Accent collided with a wall on the right-hand side of the road. The 23-year-old-driver of the Accent was killed at the scene.

The Accent skidded off the freeway and down an embankment, hitting several objects in the process. The car finally returned to the freeway where it collided with the wall. It is unknown if alcohol or drugs played a part in this accident.
